On this occasion Motor Vehicle Inspector Srikanth said that we have arranged this meeting to give a message to the people by wearing helmets among the youth. If we do not know about road safety, we are losing our lives due to some negligence.
The main causes of road accidents are road defects, the vehicles we travel in, and human errors. Most of the accidents are due to human error. Most of the accidents are two-wheeler accidents and there is loss of life. Therefore, everyone who drives two-wheelers should wear a helmet to reduce the risk of life. AP State Authority Transport Department and State Legal Authority jointly organized this conference in Ramakrishna College today to create awareness among the people. They said that it was done, but from now on you must wear a helmet and take oath.

It should be recognized that there should be no carelessness while driving and traffic rules must be followed. The students realized that in case of accidents, not only you will suffer loss but also your family will be the ones who have caused immense loss and the students must wear helmets and drive vehicles and not use mobile phones while driving vehicles.
Mr. Subbaiah, the principal of the college said that it does not matter if you are late to reach your destination, you should not drive recklessly, you should drive with concentration, you should not do triple driving at all, you should wear a helmet and you should drive with awareness and reach your destination safely.

World Population Day – 11-07-2024

Population control in the protection of human rights is the responsibility of all of us”-Prf. G Ramakrishna Reddy.

Prof. Ramakrishna Reddy said that it is the responsibility of all of us to prevent global population.
A World Population Day Conference was organized today i.e. 11-07-2024 at Vivekananda Auditorium in local Sri Ramakrishna Autonomous Degree College. The chief guest of the conference was Mr. G. Nandyala Mmarvo. Chandrasekhar Reddy attended. On this occasion, the chief guest MMARO Chandrasekhar Reddy spoke

At present the population of India is approximately 138. Due to the large number of young people in the growing population of India, developing them with proper educational skills, communication skills, etc., population growth can also be taken as a development phase and also as a challenge. Apart from that, as a social responsibility, all the people, especially the students, should play an important role in this.

The chairman of the college Professor Ramakrishna Reddy said that in the world our country is at the first place in terms of population, surpassing China, this is not good for the country, if the population is not controlled, there will be many calamities in the future. He said that things like petroleum and coal will also cause disaster because of this, no matter how developed the world is now, if the population cannot be controlled, the progress achieved will be stunted. Human rights will be eroded. Human values will fall. In China, population control was controlled due to strict legal and judicial measures taken by the government. This year we are moving forward with the slogan “No one is left behind, everyone counts”. The increase in population results in a difference in the male-female ratio. Poverty increases. Mothers are also facing many problems. In countries like China, Japan, the number of elderly people is high and the number of young people is low, but in India, the number of young people is high, so the country will develop when the youth are studying as college students with proper educational standards and social awareness programs. He said that every student and everyone should participate in this and the government should make strict laws.
.
.In implementing the one or two policy, the courts said that governments should make strict laws and implement them. Otherwise, it is extremely dangerous that human rights and humanitarian values will also decline. The fertility rate in our country is also 2.2. Currently, people in countries like China and Japan are not interested in having children. He said that the development of skills among the youth will be useful for the development of the country.
Principal of the college Mr. Subbaiah said that population control is the duty of all of us and there is a need to spread awareness among the people. He said that due to the increase in population, the standard of living will decrease and various problems such as health problems and air pollution will be faced, so it is the responsibility of everyone to control the increase in population. The chief guest was felicitated by the management of the college.
NSS Program Officer Mrs. Ramanamma , Mr.Imtiaz Ahammad Shravani Kumari, Dr. Lalita Saraswathi, Hanumantha Rao, Venkateshwarlu, Krishnaveni, Andrews, Shekhar College faculty members participated in the program and made the program a success.

Day : 3

Today in Sri Ramakrishna degree college workshop was conducted on design thinking….how companies are being created and how innovative products came into the picture….

He said that this is a process for solving problems by prioritizing the consumer’s needs above all else. It relies on observing, with empathy, how people interact with their environments, and employs an iterative, hands-on approach to creating innovative solutions….

Design thinking has been a key factor in this change since 1940. It was Brian Lawson who popularized it. He is an architect and a psychologist too! In 1980, Brian wrote a book called ‘How Designers Think’. He started a research to explain more about the uniqueness of design thinking.

There are four main things to keep in mind while doing design thinking.

1. Human dimension

If we are working for a customer… we have to focus on his needs, thoughts and interests. To design an object, one must think about its use. To solve the problems in the society, we have to start from the suffering side (social innovation).

2. Be prepared for uncertainty

No matter how much knowledge one may have, no matter how many skills one may know. But if we want the solutions to be subservient to them… we have to impose limits on ourselves to everyone.
3. Variations

This is called ‘Redesign Rule’. Conditions vary. New challenges arise. Human needs do not change! That is why old inventions take on new forms as per need. Messages sent with pigeon are now mails. The idea is the same! Innovation is growing.

4. Realistic vision

It is not enough to have an idea. What matters is whether it yields results or not. In that effort, various models should be created if necessary. Realize the shortcomings in practice.

After the activity was assigned to the faculty they came up with the different problems later they used the design thinking process to solve the problems….at the end of the session question hour was being conducted The faculty raised various questions and they were answered by the resource person

He also conducted an activity for the faculty members by asking different questions
