Commerce Fest on 21.03.2024

World Consumer day 14.03.2024

The local Sri Ramakrishna Degree College organized a World Consumer Rights Day program on Friday. College Chairman Professor G. Ramakrishna Reddy, College Director G. Hemanth Reddy and college teachers and students participated as the Chief Guest of this program.
College Chairman Professor G. Ramakrishna Reddy said that World Consumer Rights Day is celebrated on March 15 every year. Today U. Inspired by John F. Kennedys (former US President) speech on consumer rights on 15 March 1962 while addressing the U.S. Congress, Anwar Fazal, a Consumers International worker, later proposed this day as World Consumer Rights Day. The first Consumer Rights Day was held in 1983. The Consumer Protection Act, 1983 was enacted to protect the rights of the recipient or persons and such persons.

College Director G. Hemant Reddy said that World Consumer Rights Day is important because it is a day to recognize consumer rights of common people and take action against them. Moreover, it is an important expression of each person as a consumer, because they take positive actions that affect everyone. For that, since March 15, 1983, the World Consumer Rights Day program is being held. College teacher Imtiaz Ahmed said that consumers have the right to know the quality, efficiency, purity, price and standard of goods and services. AIC-SKU Award to College 11.03.2024

Atal Innovation Center AIC-SKU was started in Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Anantapur, as a part of the Atal Innovation Center which is being ambitiously created by the Central Government in 2016 as a part of the Atal Innovation Center which is being ambitiously created by the Central Government on the call of our Prime Minister with the intention of making the students industrial. In connection with this, about 68 colleges in degree and engineering colleges in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka have organized faculty training sessions in the year 2023 under the agreement with AIC-SKU, in this training how to provide the necessary infrastructure for creative and innovative ideas to the students in their colleges. Guidelines were provided along with discussion. Later, the awards were given in the AIC-SKU ranking system which monitored the facilities provided in the respective colleges in which the first award was given to Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institutions in the Eco-Syatem in Emergence section of the college which took MOU from these Telugu states. Program SKU start up fair was held at Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on 9th and 10th of this month. Shri Ramana Ramanatham, Shri Naga Bhushan Raju, Founder, Chief, AIC-SKU, Siva Kishore CEO AIC-SKU, Hussain Reddy, Vice Chancellor SKU participated and presented this award as chief guests.

Nutrition supply to HIV Children 23.02.2024

Dr. Ramakrishna Acharya ji, head of Ramakrishna Education Institutions, has been providing financial support to the local Sri Ramakrishna Degree College, providing nutritious food, distribution of medicines, biscuits, kits etc. Today i.e. on February 23rd organized program conference was attended by HIV responsible children, Red Cross Society staff, YRG Care volunteer organization coordinators.
