Sri Ramakrishna Degree College organized cancer awareness programme. The guests are Dr.Geetha vani garu and praneeth garu. They created awareness to the students on cancer. Director of the institute Mr.G.Hemanth reddy sir felicitated the guests.

Awareness on entrepreneurship is being conducted by AIC by name srujana shibir.C.E.O shiva kiran sir gave key inputs and ideas on how to start a start up. the core objectives of the camp such as to build the in ate capability of young students, to bring about Awareness regarding Entrepreneurial life right from grass root levels and also offer multitude of suggestions for them to start off their career

On April 6 th SRK innovation and incubation center was inaugurated by the chief guest Prof.M.R.K.Reddy,Vice chancellor,Sri Krishna Devarya University Chairman,Atal INcubation center , SKU. The aim is to encourage entrepreneurship among locals with the colleges serving as focal points. It is a platform for nurturing, encouraging and developing innovation and entrepreneurial skills among its students, research scholars and alumni, as well as students of the region.

Entrepreneurship in India is on the verge of explosive growth. Angel investors, venture capital, media, startup clubs, service providers, mentors and training companies are going to grow. And one important cog in the wheel is the incubator – the place where startups are born.

When a baby is born, he/she is kept in the incubator for first few hours and maybe days – this gives them a chance to adjust to outside environment, and grow stronger before they face the outside world! In a similar way, a startup is incubated in Incubation Center, which gives them a chance to bring their business in shape, before they reach out to the world.

Two days Faculty development programme was attended by the faculty of Sri Ramakrishna Degree 0College in Atal Incubation center Ananthapur. The Faculty Development programme was Acharya 5.0 Creating a Minimum delightful Incubator. The faculty had received the valuable inputs on how to set up the incubation center in the college.

On February 22 the seminar on journalism was held concentrating on Basic principles and the role of Media in the development of Andhra Pradesh.Kommineni srinivasa rao was the chief guest of this function. The growing media culture has opened the job market and opportunities for professionals in the field of Reporting, Editing, Advertising, Media Production and Public Relations. To capture the job market students need to be aware of the latest trends in the Media profession along with an in – depth knowledge on various media functions.

On February 14 th 2023 Sri Ramakrishna degree college offered condolences to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their life for the nation. Students portrayed the incident through their dance and skit. The objective of this program is to create awareness among the students how our soldiers are sacrificing their lives on the boarders of our country to protect our nation from terror attacks. Further this program also extracts the view of Students as how this type of terror attacks could be avoided.

Republic day was successfully organized by both the NSS and NCC teams. The celebration started with a grand parade and flag hoisting, followed by mesmerizing performances by students including dances, singing, and instrumental music. The “Vande Mataram” song filled the air with a sense of national pride and unity. All faculty and students actively participated in the celebration, reinforcing the idea of unity in diversity and the importance of the day. The celebration was a true testament to the university’s commitment to preserving and promoting India’s cultural heritage.

Sri Ramakrishna degree college organized Netaji Jayanti, also known as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti or officially Parakram Diwas (Day of Valour), is a national event celebrated in India to mark the birthday of a prominent Indian freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. It is celebrated annually on 23 January to aware about the Life of Subhash Chandra Bose the prominent Indian freedom fighter and his contribution in India’s Independence movements.

To honor the many contributions of Swami Vivekananda, Sri Ramakrishna Degree College celebrated his birth anniversary on 12th January as ‘National Youth Day’. The primary aim of sensitizing the students about the philosophies, principles, and ideas of Swami Vivekananda, a great spiritual leader and reformer, was the main objective of celebration. The students get the opportunity to understand the great work done in the different field, especially spirituality thus motivated to be good citizens of India and contributing to the countrys development. Numerous activities were conducted like Rangoli competitions, essay writing competitions, Drawing etc On the theme of National Youth day.

Rayalaseema university intercollegiate tournament was successfully organized by Sri Ramakrishna degree college. The MP of nandyal was the chief guest. All the teams played excellently well and no one was being able to mark out till the end that who would win definitely. All the matches drew a big enthusiastic crowd. Students from all classes had gathered an hour before the match began.
