On February 14 th 2023 Sri Ramakrishna degree college offered condolences to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their life for the nation. Students portrayed the incident through their dance and skit. The objective of this program is to create awareness among the students how our soldiers are sacrificing their lives on the boarders of our country to protect our nation from terror attacks. Further this program also extracts the view of Students as how this type of terror attacks could be avoided.

Republic day was successfully organized by both the NSS and NCC teams. The celebration started with a grand parade and flag hoisting, followed by mesmerizing performances by students including dances, singing, and instrumental music. The “Vande Mataram” song filled the air with a sense of national pride and unity. All faculty and students actively participated in the celebration, reinforcing the idea of unity in diversity and the importance of the day. The celebration was a true testament to the university’s commitment to preserving and promoting India’s cultural heritage.

Sri Ramakrishna degree college organized Netaji Jayanti, also known as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti or officially Parakram Diwas (Day of Valour), is a national event celebrated in India to mark the birthday of a prominent Indian freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. It is celebrated annually on 23 January to aware about the Life of Subhash Chandra Bose the prominent Indian freedom fighter and his contribution in India’s Independence movements.

To honor the many contributions of Swami Vivekananda, Sri Ramakrishna Degree College celebrated his birth anniversary on 12th January as ‘National Youth Day’. The primary aim of sensitizing the students about the philosophies, principles, and ideas of Swami Vivekananda, a great spiritual leader and reformer, was the main objective of celebration. The students get the opportunity to understand the great work done in the different field, especially spirituality thus motivated to be good citizens of India and contributing to the countrys development. Numerous activities were conducted like Rangoli competitions, essay writing competitions, Drawing etc On the theme of National Youth day.

Rayalaseema university intercollegiate tournament was successfully organized by Sri Ramakrishna degree college. The MP of nandyal was the chief guest. All the teams played excellently well and no one was being able to mark out till the end that who would win definitely. All the matches drew a big enthusiastic crowd. Students from all classes had gathered an hour before the match began.

Sri Ramakrishna Degree College organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted MBA students. The major objective of the programme was to make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the institute and ensuring parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of students. Sri Ramakrishna Degree College organized Kisan diwas successfully. Besides paying rich tributes to former Prime Minister Shri Chaudhary Charan Singh, the institution celebrated the auspicious day with the theme “IGNITING YOUNG MINDS BY INNOVATIVE FARMERS”.  The celebrations aimed to create awareness among young girls and boys on the importance of farmers and farming
for a healthy and prosperous nation, and to inspire them to take up agriculture as a career option.

National Mathematics day was organized in Sri Ramakrishna Degree and pg college in both the campuses successfully. Inter college quiz and power point presentations was held in both the campuses. The Department of Mathematics celebrated National Mathematics Day to commemorate Shri Srinivasa Ramanujan’s 136th birth anniversary as a tribute to the internationally renowned
mathematician to get inspiration from his accomplishments and significant contributions to the field of mathematics. Though Srinivasa Ramanujan had almost no formal training in pure mathematics, he made substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions, including solutions to mathematical problems then considered unsolvable.

National energy conservation day was organized in Sri Ramakrishna Degree College. Students had delivered the speeches and created awareness on how to save and conserve energy. Poster presentation competitions were successfully held and students came up with the different and unique ideas. Faculty had delivered the speeches in connection with the energy conservation day.

Sri Ramakrishna Degree College organized two days Faculty Development programme on Transformation of Teacher to Facilitator for enhanced learning by the resource person KSG.Gupta garu an empowerment garu. He gave valuable inputs to all faculties regarding how to transform to facilitator.
