As part of the Bharat Environment Programme 2026, the NSS Unit of Sri Ramakrishna Degree College (Autonomous), Nandyal, successfully organized a Community Outreach Programme today at the Nandyal Municipal Park.

Under the guidance of Chairman Dr. G. Ramakrishna Reddy and Director Dr. G. Hemanth Reddy, NSS volunteers undertook a “Clean and Green” campaign in the park premises and cleaned the surroundings. They also created awareness among the public about environmental conservation and emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness.

The programme was conducted under the supervision of NSS Programme Officers Mrs. M. Sravani Kumari and Mr. T. Madhava Reddy. The volunteers participated enthusiastically and set an example for the community through their dedicated service.

On this occasion, the college management appreciated the efforts of the NSS volunteers. Through the programme, a message was conveyed that everyone should take responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean and avoid activities that harm the environment.

The programme concluded successfully with the slogan, “Clean Surroundings – Healthy Living.”
