The birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sri Ramakrishna Degree College. The programme was graced by Dr. G. Ramakrishna Reddy, Chairman of Sri Ramakrishna Institute, as the chief guest. He paid floral tributes to the portrait of Netaji and addressed the gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ramakrishna Reddy highlighted the patriotism, sacrifice, and courage of Subhas Chandra Bose, stating that his life continues to inspire Indian youth. He recalled Netaji’s powerful slogan, “Give me blood, and I will give you freedom,” which infused new energy into the freedom struggle. He urged students to follow Netaji’s ideals with discipline, determination, and a spirit of national service.

Faculty members Ms. A. S. Pragathi (Assistant Professor) and Dr. Lalitha Saraswathi also spoke, emphasizing Netaji’s leadership qualities and his significant role in India’s freedom movement.

The programme witnessed active participation from faculty and students. Student speeches were a special attraction, and the celebrations strengthened patriotic spirit among the students, the college management stated.
