A National Voter’s Day program was organized Sri Ramakrishna Degree College on Saturday. The college director . Mr. G Hemanth Reddy garu, Principal of the College. KBV Subbaiah garu, Chief Guest Mr. Subod B Vanve garu (Chief Manager, Canara Bank, Nandyala Main Branch) Mr. Inthiyaz Ahammed garu and College faculty and students were present.

College Director G. Hemanth Reddy Garu said that exercising the right to vote is one of the main reasons for the development or destruction of the country, the future of our country depends on the right to vote that we use, the development of the country depends especially on the youth, if the youth use this right to vote well and inform everyone about the importance of voting, our country will be at the highest position. If we bring a law that they will not get any facilities from the government after using the right to vote, our country will definitely develop because then everyone will use the right to vote even for those facilities. It is very important for all of you to have a proper understanding of the right to vote because you all still have the right to vote and everyone should know how to use it and contribute to the development of our country.

College Principal K B V Subbaiah garu said that the main purpose of this Voter’s Day is to inform the youth about the importance of voting. Voting Rights Day will be observed from 25th January 2011. It has been 75 years since this convention was formed on January 25, 1950 by the Election Commission of India to create awareness about the right to vote among the youth. Vote is like a weapon that can bring about change without torturing anyone with that weapon. That change is only possible for you, the youth. There are mostly youth in our country, all of them can achieve anything if they put their mind to it. Exercising this right to vote is also possible with you. If you make everyone aware of the exercise of this right to vote, our country will be at the top. According to Article 326, the right to vote has been provided to the people. It was started in 1988 that everyone over 18 should be given the right to vote. He said that you should take advantage of your right to vote by observing that the country’s progress depends on the youth.

The Chief Guest Mr. Subodh B Vanve garu (Chief Manager, Canara Bank, Nandyala Main Branch) said that according to Article 326 of the Constitution of India, National Voters Day has been given to the national citizens who have completed 18 years of age to vote. Universal adult voting rights have been given to the literate and illiterate without discrimination of caste, religion, gender, region, rich, poor, illiterate.. a great revolutionary change in the history of world politics. The right to vote has been established in our country before the developed countries. However, the right given by the constitution to fight corruption is not increasing as expected, but many rural voters are not interested in voting Although the voter registration is increasing, the voting percentage is not increasing, so you should educate everyone about this right to vote. But 70% of the elections held this year 2024 than every time.

Everyone has exercised their right to vote which is a good thing and everyone should exercise their right to vote and you should make everyone aware of that. Vote is very important one vote is like a weapon one vote you cast can change the country tomorrow so everyone should use vote.

College faculty Ratnam mam said that if the right to vote is not used properly, there is a danger of destroying the country. Only 60 percent of the people who have the right to vote are using the right to vote, the other 40 percent are not using the right to vote, why are they all staying in different areas, neglecting what is the need to go and vote again due to such things, many people do not have proper understanding or use the vote. You need to inform all such people, now all of you will have the right to vote, as you are all educated people, how can everyone exercise the right to vote by making them aware and informing everyone? He said that the future development of our country depends on it.

And its our college tradition to facilitate our chief guest Mr. Subodh B Vanve. Garu.

World Population Day – 11-07-2024

Population control in the protection of human rights is the responsibility of all of us”-Prf. G Ramakrishna Reddy.

Prof. Ramakrishna Reddy said that it is the responsibility of all of us to prevent global population.
A World Population Day Conference was organized today i.e. 11-07-2024 at Vivekananda Auditorium in local Sri Ramakrishna Autonomous Degree College. The chief guest of the conference was Mr. G. Nandyala Mmarvo. Chandrasekhar Reddy attended. On this occasion, the chief guest MMARO Chandrasekhar Reddy spoke

At present the population of India is approximately 138. Due to the large number of young people in the growing population of India, developing them with proper educational skills, communication skills, etc., population growth can also be taken as a development phase and also as a challenge. Apart from that, as a social responsibility, all the people, especially the students, should play an important role in this.

The chairman of the college Professor Ramakrishna Reddy said that in the world our country is at the first place in terms of population, surpassing China, this is not good for the country, if the population is not controlled, there will be many calamities in the future. He said that things like petroleum and coal will also cause disaster because of this, no matter how developed the world is now, if the population cannot be controlled, the progress achieved will be stunted. Human rights will be eroded. Human values will fall. In China, population control was controlled due to strict legal and judicial measures taken by the government. This year we are moving forward with the slogan “No one is left behind, everyone counts”. The increase in population results in a difference in the male-female ratio. Poverty increases. Mothers are also facing many problems. In countries like China, Japan, the number of elderly people is high and the number of young people is low, but in India, the number of young people is high, so the country will develop when the youth are studying as college students with proper educational standards and social awareness programs. He said that every student and everyone should participate in this and the government should make strict laws.
.
.In implementing the one or two policy, the courts said that governments should make strict laws and implement them. Otherwise, it is extremely dangerous that human rights and humanitarian values will also decline. The fertility rate in our country is also 2.2. Currently, people in countries like China and Japan are not interested in having children. He said that the development of skills among the youth will be useful for the development of the country.
Principal of the college Mr. Subbaiah said that population control is the duty of all of us and there is a need to spread awareness among the people. He said that due to the increase in population, the standard of living will decrease and various problems such as health problems and air pollution will be faced, so it is the responsibility of everyone to control the increase in population. The chief guest was felicitated by the management of the college.
NSS Program Officer Mrs. Ramanamma , Mr.Imtiaz Ahammad Shravani Kumari, Dr. Lalita Saraswathi, Hanumantha Rao, Venkateshwarlu, Krishnaveni, Andrews, Shekhar College faculty members participated in the program and made the program a success.
