The National level Management Meet Ripples for MBA Students was held on September 10 th -2022.The chief Guest of this Meet is Nandyal MP.Pocha brahmananda reddy garu. This meet is being successfully organized from last 24years. Total 7 colleges attended the Meet and enthusiastically participated in all the events of Ripples and college felicitated the chief guest Mr.Pocha brahmananda Reddy garu.
In connection with teacher’s day, Sri Ramakrishna Degree & PG college organized Teacher’s Day successfully. Garland was offered the portrait of Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishna by the honorable Director sir G.Hemanth Reddy Garu and all other faculty members, students delivered the speeches with great enthusiasm. They said that teachers are important to mold students’ personalities. Then followed by the faculty speeches. Mrs.Sravani Kumari (Assistant professor in commerce and management) shared a few live examples that happened in the life of Dr.Sarvapalli Radhakrishna she also said that the birthday of sarvapalli Radhakrishna was celebrated as the teacher’s day. Ramana reddy sir librarian of the college also highlighted the importance o the teachers in every student’s life. He also said that many are becoming doctors and engineers he expected that few students should become scientists too. Mr.P.Ratna reddy sir (Assistant professor in commerce and management ) delivered the speech. He highlighted the story of Mokshagunda Visheshwarayya how he had used the government resources for government work and also usage of personal resources. Mrs.P.Ratna reddy mam ( Assistant professor in commerce and management) highlighted the way of present teaching she expected to bring
back the traditional methods of teaching. Mohan Rao sir from the Telugu department also expressed his views on the important role played by the teachers in every student’s life. Mr.G.Hemanth reddy sir Director of the
institution spoke about his personal life experiences. He had learned scuba diving with the help of the trainer. He also said that college will support the students in every aspect. He advised the students to watch all
the 320 English movies so that they can improve their communication skills. He also advised the students to have a secondary backup. He questioned the students about what backup do they have. He also focused on important lines like “Sama Dhaana Bedha Dando Paaya” He attributed to the practical aspects of the students on this occasion of teachers day Shilpa Ravikishore MLA of nandyal had attended. He felt happy that he had interacted with the youngsters. He along with the Chairman sir felicitated faculty members of this Sri Ramakrishna degree and pg college followed by the prize distribution to the faculty members who participated in the games on the eve of the teacher’s day. MLA Shilpa Ravikishore sir said that teaching is the best profession. It is like service to the Nation. He said that everyone in their life will have one best teachers in their life. He congratulated all the teachers for choosing the best profession. MLC C.Isaq Basha also highlighted the importance of teacher’s day and praised Sri Ramakrishna Degree and PG college. He also appreciated the college for the campus placement and appreciated Prof.G.Ramkrishna reddy Garu for his determination and dedication. On the occasion of the Teachers. From each department, one faculty is being felicitated on the auspicious occasion of teacher’s day. Then followed by the felicitations to the guests Sudhakar reddy Garu, Gangi Shetty Sreedhar, and Isaq Basha garu. Then the teacher’s day was winded up with the National Anthem.
A placement drive was conducted today (3.9.2022) under the auspices of VR CAREERZ, Chennai in accordance with Higher Education Council-APSCHE rules and regulations for second year student students of the local Sri Ramakrishna Degree College. G. Ramakrishna Reddy informed. Dhanu Shekhar, CEO of VR CAREERZ, Chennai, Gopinath Muralidharan, Manager, Nikita Lal Chandini, Sr. HR attended this event.
Indian medical association Nandyal formed mission pink health wing by the female leading doctors of Nandyal to conduct seminar on adolescent girls health awareness program to spread knowledge about anaemic, menstural, PCOD and PCOS and other related health problems caused due to social media addiction.
Dr.C.Nagamani -Gynecologist, the president of mission pink health wing, actively participated and interacted with the students regarding menstural hygiene and guided female students on how to maintain hygiene in everyday life.
Dr.U.Laxmi Sowjanya -Gynecologist spoke about anaemic problems in the young women and also briefed about the food habits and lifestyle to be followed to overcome anaemic problems.
Dr.N.Aruna Kumari – Gynecologist presented a seminar about PLOS (PCOD and PCOS) problems and how to identify the symptoms and take preventive measures to overcome the problems.
Dr.Shailaja – Gynecologist presented a seminar on social media addiction which is a huge issue in today’s generation , also mentioned the disadvantages and gave tips to young women on how to overcome social media addiction.
We had other female doctors from Nandyal participate in the event along with 250 girls from the college participated in the seminar and made the event successful.
Tech Fest 2k20 was organised in Sri Ramakrishna degree & p.g college, nandyal.under the aegis of the department of electronics and Mr. shaik shavali as coordinator.This is a state level Electronics and Academic competition meet inviting students from other college and arranging for interaction, discussion and show caring their in made talent of writing,creativity and improving skills.

World cancer day was celebrated in Sri Ramakrishna P.G (Autonomous) College,Nandyal. Professor K. L. N Reddy Director of the college presided over the meeting, professor Chandra Sekar Rao,Faculty of economics and students took active part with their talks. It is meant to create awareness on the causes, prevention and cures of cancer. Professor K.L.N Reddy explained the prime causes.He was illustrating the food habits,environment etc. He warned the students to be away from Boosing, Smoking and use of narcotics. He suggested yoga and medication as solution of the problem besides advanced therapies and medicines. Prof.G. Chandra sekar Rao,Faculty of Economics spoke on the need for creating awareness among students so that these youth spread the message of causes and cures of cancer. He was critical among junk food and products of tobacco. Mr. Sunil, Faculty of Sanskrit gave a clean picture of origin, causes, consequences and cures of cancer. PRO team of the college oversee the arrangements of the event and few of them spoke on this occasion. Awareness was created and students were encouraged to spread the message of “THE RELEVANCE OF WORLD CANCER DAY”
