An awareness programme was organized by ETV and EENADU organization along with “shakti team” on “Disha law” to the students of sri Ramakrishna Degree and PG (autonomous) college auditorium on 31-01-2020. Sri M. Chidananda Reddy, DSP Nandyal has explained the students about various Acts and punishments for those who involve in such violation of rules and laws in the society. He has categorically mentioned the need of understanding the laws and rules pertaining to such cases. Those who have such threats or put to such sufferings may immediately call 112 or 101 for rescue operations. Police team will be at your rescue, he added. Sri Subramaniam, inspector or police added that Shakti team has been working in Nandyal, their services will be available at any time. He said change should start from every individual to have a peaceful life in society. Sri Rama Krishna Reddy, chairman of Sri Rama Krishna colleges has chaired the occasion and narrated some incidents happened earlier in the college and has drawn the attention of every one attended.

Sri Rama Krishna P.G. college Celebrated Vasantha Panchami as ‘ETHNIC DAY’ and vasantha/sri Panchami with great dedication and discipline. The programme was chaired by Dr. G. Rama Krishna Reddy, founder of the academic institution chairman correspondent. At the beginning Saraswathi pooja was done with utmost Bhakthi and fenven during this Veda Divya Vani, a magnum opus on four Vedas was Unveiled and decided to place in the library for the benefit of students, staff and visitors to the institution, Dr. G. Rama Krishna Reddy, spoke on the importance of ‘Sri Panchami’, ETHNIC DAY and bringing ‘VEDA VANI’, four vedas, in a big volume added ferver to the existing library.
Prof. K. L. N. Reddy, Director of the college particularly recited ‘GAYATHRI Mantra’ and explained its relevance to the present contemporary situation. Prof. G. Chandra Sekhar Rao,former, director explained, in detail, the four hands of Saraswathi, and illustrated the four ‘PURUSHARDHA’ viz, Dharma, ARTHA, KAMA,MOKSHA. Advised the students to worship the goddess of education, knowledge and wisdom.

A guest lecture on ‘cloud services’ was organized by the department of Computer sciences of Sri Rama Krishna Degree & P.G. college (Autonomous), Nandyal. Mr. Kamal Syed, currently working as ‘Technical Architect’ at YOOX and Net-A-Porter in London, United Kingdom delivered an interesting and very impressive take on the subject. Mr. Kamal Syed happened to be an old student of Sri Rama Krishna college, a passed out candidate in M. Sc computer science in the year 1997. The specially arranged guest lecture was well attended by the M.Sc. computer science, B.C.A and other computer related course students and staff. Director Prof. K. L. N. Reddy introduced the guest speaker to the audience and finally he was felicitated amidst the staff and students.
