Free Week-long Training Program
A week-long free training program on soft skills for final-year degree students was inaugurated at Sri Ramakrishna Autonomous Degree College (SBI Colony Campus), Nandyal. The program is being conducted by Nandi Foundation in collaboration with Mahindra Pride Classrooms to enhance students’ employability skills.
Speaking on the occasion, Placement Officer M. Imtiaz Ahmed emphasized the importance of communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities in today’s corporate world. He encouraged students to make the best use of the training provided by expert trainers from Hyderabad.
Dr. U.V.S. Kumar, Head of Computer Science, highlighted the importance of aptitude and logical thinking for career growth, especially in the software field.
Anil Kumar, Team Leader from Nandi Foundation, stated that the program includes practical sessions, mock interviews, and group discussions to prepare students for industry requirements.
College Director G. Hemanth Reddy stressed that along with technical knowledge, soft skills are essential for success and advised students to utilize this opportunity effectively.
Chairman Prof. G. Ramakrishna Reddy, in his presidential address, noted that such training helps bridge the gap faced by rural students during interviews and urged participants to develop confidence and discipline.
Students actively participated in the inaugural session along with faculty and staff.
