IBM SkillsBuild Training Programme
Nandyal, March 14, 2026: The valedictory programme of the IBM SkillsBuild Training Programme, organized in collaboration with IBM and Magic Bus India Foundation, was successfully conducted at Sri Ramakrishna Degree College (Autonomous), Nandyal, on Saturday.
The programme was attended by Prof. G. Ramakrishna Reddy, Chairman of Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institutions; Sri K.B.V. Subbaiah, Principal; Sri K. Sampath Kumar; Sri M. Imtiaz Ahmed; Sri K. Dasarath; Sri M. Bharath Kumar; Sri T. Pawan Kumar; Sri I. Ansari; Sri Venkata Rao; faculty members; and students.
Addressing the gathering, Sri M. Imtiaz Ahmed, Placement Officer, stated that the three-day IBM SkillsBuild training programme equipped students with industry-relevant competencies and helped transform them into industry-ready professionals. He thanked the college management, particularly Chairman Prof. G. Ramakrishna Reddy, for providing students with access to global learning opportunities.
Sri K. Dasarath, Training Officer, encouraged students to view the completion of the programme as the beginning of a lifelong learning journey, emphasizing that innovation and resilience are essential qualities for future leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri I. Ansari, Trainer, highlighted that the IBM certificate represents students’ commitment to continuous learning and would provide them with a competitive advantage in the job market. Sri M. Bharath Kumar stressed the importance of adapting to a rapidly changing world driven by automation and cultivating a habit of continuous learning.
Principal Sri K.B.V. Subbaiah remarked that Artificial Intelligence has become an indispensable force in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and advised students to embrace technology as a tool for career advancement.
The Chief Guest, Prof. G. Ramakrishna Reddy, appreciated IBM and Magic Bus for bringing international-standard skill development opportunities to students. He emphasized that employers today seek problem-solving skills rather than academic scores alone and urged students to apply the knowledge gained during the training in their academic projects and professional careers. He assured students that the institution would continue to organize more skill development programmes to prepare them for emerging trends in the IT sector.
Sri K. Sampath Kumar thanked the Chairman, Principal, Director Dr. G. Hemanth Reddy, IBM and Magic Bus trainers, faculty members, technical staff, and students for their wholehearted support in making the programme a grand success.
The college management felicitated the guests and trainers in recognition of their valuable contribution. The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
