The valedictory ceremony of “KAMEROON-2K26,” a National Level Information Technology Meet organized by the Department of Computer Science and Applications at Sri Ramakrishna Degree College (Autonomous), Nandyal, concluded on a grand note.

The programme was graced by Prof. G. Ramakrishna Reddy, Chairman of Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institutions, as the Chief Guest. He emphasized the importance of embracing technological advancements, utilizing mobile phones for learning, and earning certifications from premier institutions such as IITs to enhance employability and future prospects.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. U.V.S. Kumar, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Applications, encouraged students to develop decision-making abilities, life skills, and a goal-oriented mindset. He urged students to dream big, work hard, and effectively use emerging technologies for personal and professional growth.

Faculty representatives from other colleges appreciated the institution for consistently organizing platforms that nurture students’ talents and foster innovation. Participating students shared that events like KAMEROON-2K26 provide valuable opportunities to showcase creativity, technical knowledge, and competitive spirit beyond classroom learning.

Students enthusiastically participated in competitions such as Technical Quiz, Code Quest (Programming Competition), Paper Presentation, and Cultural Events. Winners from various colleges were presented with mementoes and certificates during the valedictory session.

The programme concluded with the felicitation of the organizers and faculty members, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Faculty members and students of the BCA Department played an active role in making the event a grand success.
