Nandyal: Sri Ramakrishna Degree College (Autonomous), Nandyal, felicitated its alumna Mrs. Itte Vijayalakshmi, who was recently selected as an Assistant Section Officer (ASO) in the APPSC Group-II examinations.

Hailing from Yallavattula village in Rudravaram Mandal and belonging to a modest farming family, Vijayalakshmi pursued her degree at the college during the 2014–17 academic years. She achieved success through determination and perseverance despite facing financial challenges, social pressures, and criticism while preparing for competitive examinations.

College Chairman Prof. G. Ramakrishna Reddy honoured her with a shawl and memento and praised her achievement as an inspiration to students, particularly those from rural backgrounds.

Addressing the students, Vijayalakshmi shared her journey to success and expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of her husband. She encouraged students to remain focused on their goals, overcome obstacles with determination, and continue striving until their dreams become a reality.

The programme was attended by Mrs. Pragathi Reddy, Dean of Student Affairs, faculty members, and a large number of students, who congratulated Vijayalakshmi on her remarkable accomplishment.
