Vasantha Panchami celebrations were conducted with traditional rituals and grandeur at Sri Ramakrishna Degree College. Dr. G. Ramakrishna Reddy, Chairman of Ramakrishna Degree Institutions, attended the programme as the chief guest and inaugurated the celebrations.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ramakrishna Reddy stated that Vasantha Panchami symbolizes education, knowledge, and creativity. He expressed his wish that Goddess Saraswati’s blessings remain with all students, enabling them to achieve excellence not only in academics but also in life. He emphasized the importance of discipline, hard work, and value-based education, urging students to aim for higher positions and serve society and the nation.

Assistant Professor Ms. A. S. Pragathi spoke about the cultural significance of Vasantha Panchami in Indian tradition and encouraged students to focus more on their education.

Students performed Saraswati Devi puja and cultural programmes, which were the main attraction of the event. Faculty and staff actively participated, and prasadam was distributed to all students. The college management stated that the celebrations enhanced students’ spiritual awareness and interest in education.
