BA History, Economics & Political Science

History: To enable the learners to understand the political, socio-economic and cultural developments in the period under study and appreciate the rich cultural heritage in India.

Economics: Study of economics provides insight into the operation domestic market for goods and services, financial market and the global economic system. It provides the quantitative and analytical skill that enable learners to understand various economic issues clearly. It also teaches how to make well informed decisions, how to go about making choices and creates financial awareness.

Political Science: To inculcate among the learners humanitarian and national values such as tolerance, communal harmony, peace, justice, liberty, equality.

BCom Computer Applications

Students understand the concept of business environment. Internal and External elements affecting business environment. Critically examine the recent developments in economic and business policies of the Government.
Evaluate and judge the best business policies in Indian business.

Gives knowledge of programming platform to students by use of VB scripting language Enhances the use of Excel office productivity tools. Familiarizes students of E-Commerce infrastructure and the use of it in today’s Digital age.

Familiarizes students learn micro economics and its application to business. Acquires sound knowledge of Business economics and its application through case study methods and provides an understanding of the decision making process Analyze supply and demand analysis and its impact on consumer behavior use economic analysis to evaluate controversial issues and policies.

BSc in Mathematics, Electronics & Computer Science

• circuit problems including the use of computer simulation, Know about switching circuits and oscillator circuits
  their design and use in electronics. Apply concepts of electric network topology, nodes, branches, loops to solve. The student can gain good knowledge on microcontrollers and implement in practical applications. To gain the basic knowledge of power devices and implement in practical’s.
• To learn concepts of integers such as gcd, lcm, primes, fundamental theorem of arithmetic. To learn basic terminologies of functions such as injective, surjective, bijective, inverse functions, composition of functions.
• To understand binary operation and its various properties like commutative, associative, identity, inverse. To understand concepts and of relations such as reflexive, symmetric, transitive, equivalence relations.
• Appreciate and understand the working of a digital computer, Analyze a given problem and develop an algorithm to solve the problem & Improve upon a solution to a problem. Design, develop and test programs written in different programming languages like C, C++, Java, SQL, Python, .NET, HTML, JScript…Etc,.

BSc in Mathematics, Physics & Computer Science

• Understand the principle of working of polarimeter and the measurement of specific rotatory power of sugar solution Perform some basic experiments in thermal Physics, viz., determinations of Stefan’s constant, coefficient of thermal conductivity, variation of thermo-emf of athermocouple with temperature difference at its two junctions, calibration of a thermocouple and Specific heat of a liquid. Measure the current sensitivity and figure of merit of a moving coil galvanometer Study the absorption of α-rays and β-rays, Range of β-particles and the characteristics of GM counter Construct the basic logic gates, half adder and full adder and verify their truth tables. Further, the student will understand how NAND and NOR gates can be used as universal building blocks.

BCom General

Provides knowledge of various accounting concepts, convention and policies by ICAI. The student will get thorough knowledge of the accounting practice, practical applications of accounting. To find out the technical expertise in maintaining the final books of accounts.

Understand different forms of business organizations. Comprehend the nature of Joint Stock Company and formalities to promote a Company.

Describe the Social Responsibility of Business towards the society. Prepares the students with better managerial abilities and development of managerial skills. Provides detail knowledge about the Management process and various functions of management.

BSc in Botany, Zoology & Chemistry

Botany:

• Understanding the diversity of lower plants, its life cycle, and type of chloroplast and application of algae for commercial purposes. 
• Detailed study of bryophytes life cycle, types of thallus and alternation of generations. Plant succession.

Zoology:

• The learners should identify and classify the animals based on their external
  features into phylum and class.
• Learners will be able to understand increase in complexity of physiology in
  evolutionary hierarchy.

Chemistry:

• To understand the first and second order reactions, methods of determination of order of reaction. To study the properties of liquids and liquid crystals. Understand importance of hybridization on molecular structure and reactivity of various functional groups. To understand the comparative chemistry of Main group elements.

BSc in Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science

• Knowledge of statistics and its scope and importance in various areas such as Medical, Engineering,
  Agricultural and Social Sciences, etc. Knowledge of various types of data, their organization and evaluation of summary measures such as measures of central tendency and dispersion etc. Knowledge of important in discrete and continuous distributions such as Binomial, Poisson, Geometric, Exponential, Normal, Gamma distributions. A common to apply standard discrete and continuous probability distributions to different situations.
