‘Hackathon – An Innovator Marathon’ Concludes at Sri Ramakrishna Degree College
Nandyal, August 28, 2026: The 10-day ‘Hackathon – An Innovator Marathon’ organised at Sri Ramakrishna Degree College (Autonomous), Nandyal, to bring out the creativity and innovative potential of students concluded successfully on Friday.
College Chairman Prof. G. Ramakrishna Reddy, Director Dr. G. Hemant Reddy and Dean of Student Affairs A.S. Pragathi attended the valedictory programme. Commerce HoD Pullaiah, Botany faculty member Andrews, and Placement Officer Intiyaz Ahmed served as judges for the final round. Faculty members Prathyusha and Swathi Reddy coordinated the programme.
Students selected for the final round presented innovative projects and ideas aimed at addressing various social problems before the judges.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Prof. G. Ramakrishna Reddy said that innovation is a driving force for national development and encouraged students to move beyond job-seeking and become job creators. He said the college aims to identify hidden talent among students and nurture them into future entrepreneurs and startup leaders.
Dean A.S. Pragathi said continuous learning and a research-oriented mindset are essential for success. She appreciated the students for demonstrating strong problem-solving and team leadership skills and assured that the college would provide technical support, mentorship and guidance through its Atal Incubation Centre to further develop the winning projects into commercially viable products.
Jaya Lakshmi and Team won the first prize, Rohini and Team secured second place, and D. Parthasarathi won third place. The winners received trophies and certificates of appreciation, while all participants were presented with participation certificates.
Faculty, staff and a large number of students attended the programme.
