Sri Ramakrishna first visit to the degree college was Sankranti. The local Sri Ramakrishna Degree and PG College held a grand celebration on Saturday i.e. on the 6th of Sankranthi. Chairman Dr. G. Ramakrishna Reddy, Estate Manager Pragathi Reddy, Principal Subbaiah, teachers and students were present as chief guests for the celebrations. As part of the celebrations, muggle competitions and kite flying competitions were organized to encourage the students.
