Protecting mother tongues is our responsibility In the conference organized by the local Sri Ramakrishna Degree College on the occasion of International Mother Language Day today i.e. February 21 under the auspices of the Telugu Department, Nandyala towns prominent lawyer Sahithi Sravanti, President Sri Srinivasa Murthy Acharya, Mother Language Preservation Secretary, Telugu teacher Sri Anyam Srinivasa Reddy participated as chief guests.
The program started with garlanding and flower offering to the Telugu mother. On this occasion, the chairman of the college Dr. Ramakrishna Reddy Acharya ji said that many students from countries like China, Greece and Europe studied in this university a few thousand years ago in India in a university like Nalanda. He said that they took the knowledge to their countries and contributed to their national development and India is the home of the oldest cultural art and glorious civilizations.
