At present the population of India is approximately 138. Due to the large number of young people in the growing population of India, developing them with proper educational skills, communication skills, etc., population growth can also be taken as a development phase and also as a challenge. Apart from that, as a social responsibility, all the people, especially the students, should play an important role in this.
The chairman of the college Professor Ramakrishna Reddy said that in the world our country is at the first place in terms of population, surpassing China, this is not good for the country, if the population is not controlled, there will be many calamities in the future. He said that things like petroleum and coal will also cause disaster because of this, no matter how developed the world is now, if the population cannot be controlled, the progress achieved will be stunted. Human rights will be eroded. Human values will fall. In China, population control was controlled due to strict legal and judicial measures taken by the government. This year we are moving forward with the slogan “No one is left behind, everyone counts”. The increase in population results in a difference in the male-female ratio. Poverty increases. Mothers are also facing many problems. In countries like China, Japan, the number of elderly people is high and the number of young people is low, but in India, the number of young people is high, so the country will develop when the youth are studying as college students with proper educational standards and social awareness programs. He said that every student and everyone should participate in this and the government should make strict laws.
.
.In implementing the one or two policy, the courts said that governments should make strict laws and implement them. Otherwise, it is extremely dangerous that human rights and humanitarian values will also decline. The fertility rate in our country is also 2.2. Currently, people in countries like China and Japan are not interested in having children. He said that the development of skills among the youth will be useful for the development of the country.
Principal of the college Mr. Subbaiah said that population control is the duty of all of us and there is a need to spread awareness among the people. He said that due to the increase in population, the standard of living will decrease and various problems such as health problems and air pollution will be faced, so it is the responsibility of everyone to control the increase in population.
